Frustrated but trying

Hello I'm new here
I'm diagnosed PTSD but believe CPTSD fits as well.
I was diagnosed after leaving my second long-term abusive marriage. I've been working on this since, it's been 9 years. I've learned a lot and discovered my issues actually began in childhood. I was discarded, told children are to seen and not heard, expected to solely do chores before and after school when my brother a year older had no expectations.
I remember running away at a small age multiple times and being mocked for it by my mom.
Recently these memories come in pieces and are mixed with other traumas (I have many).
I'm really struggling to heal but it's hard when I only remember pieces of my past
Thank you

Hi, your life has really been difficult. I'm so proud of you for opening up. You definitely deserve to be heard and seen and you trying to express yourself is a progress.
It's true that past can be really hurtful and it's never easy to forget it. I must say I have struggled with it too but I want to tell you that it doesn't define what you're capable of doing. Your efforts matter and I'm proud of the person you're becoming.
You're much more than what hurts you. You're a person who's growing each day in many ways. And as we say, the lights get in through these cracks. I wish you healing. <3
