I confronted my mom today after 11 years of wondering what I did wrong and why it was always me. I still got the same answer, it’s my fault. Somehow, she’s always the victim. Doesn’t matter if I was 8, 11, or now 21. She’s the victim, and I’m the bad one. Lol.

I'm sorry you didn't get the answers or closure or validation that you needed.

Sadly when it comes to families, everyone sees things very differently.

You know the truth, and for now, that's all you can hold onto 💚

Sometimes are Mom has alot they didnt know how to deal with and take it out on their child. Now 21 you are an adult come to terms with "it is her problem not yours". Accept it for what it is. Know in your heart it was never your fault you dealt with situations the best way you knew how. You being here means you know you are not the bad one and want validation. You may not get it from your mom and know you don't need it. Learn was to deal with the feelings you feel and you being here is a great step in the right direction. She will see the truth it always comes out.
