Hello JeanBlue,

It sounds very lonely. I can understand how it is hard not to compare ones situation with that of friends, especially when it feels like everyone seems to have the thing that you want or need. Wanting to be cared about, to feel that you matter to someone, is a very relatable desire. Is there something that has happened recently that has brought these thoughts and feelings to prominence, or is it something that has been on your mind for a while?

It has been in your mind a lot then it seems. I know it is a trite thing to say that you don't need another person to validate your worth, but I can understand that it doesn't ease loneliness. What do you feel might help when you contemplate your friends relationships so that the urge to compare doesn't make you feel quite so bad?

Hey, I may just be a stranger, but I wanted to say this—you don't have to go through everything alone. Not having a relationship or a lot of friends doesn't make you any less valuable. Everyone deserves someone who genuinely listens and cares.

If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm here to listen without judging. I hope life brings you the kind of people who appreciate you for who you are. Until then, take care of yourself. You matter more than you probably realize. 🤍
