My ex girlfriend (TRIGGER WARNING)
I am a lesbian and this happened with the first ever girl I dated. We were both pretty young at the time-old enough to know better. I was round her house and we were watching movies ect until she started making a move on me. I had told her previous that I wasn’t ready for that yet. Though, she still continued to do it and gaslit me. It feels weird because now I don’t know if I can even count that as anything as we were both too young to understand, or if I misinterpreted the signals, or if I didn’t say no loud enough. I still think even though the whole thing has not really effected me, I carry it so deep inside myself , almost like I am built on that. It made me scared of intimacy for a while to the point I thought I was asexual because of it. And of course, being a lesbian is hard to come to terms with enough as a young girl. I just never really understood it because no one ever told me how you might feel afterwards. I remember slamming her door and storming out her house, and feeling guilty that I didn’t want it to happen. I’ve never expressed this openly before. It’s been kinda repressed in my memory. It just crossed my mind from time to time.
@considerateDay4069 I haven't been through what you says, but I am sure that it is okay for you to temperarily leave her when you don't know if you can accept it or not. I mean, you are the owner of your own body, and when you feel disrespected or harmed, no matter how good you are with the person, leaving and thinking about it is the best solution. I believe you are just in a new stage where you haven't been in before, so you are a bit lost. My suggestion with you is, think about why you feel unready, talk to her, and make your own decision afterwards.
