TRIGGER WARNING - GUN VIOLENCE

trigger warning - school shootings.

My school recently had a mass shooting and fortunately my class that day was canceled so i went home early. However I feel an overwhelming sense of emotions, i feel sadness, fear and anxiety even though I wasn’t on campus durning the shooting. I just think about the times before that i have been on campus at that same time and near the area. I feel this heavy feeling on my chest and just overwhelmed with emotions. I feel like I’m being dramatic. I don’t know if this is normal, am i being dramatic, or something ?
