Trigger warning: abuse

I was abused for 4 years between the ages of 7-10. No one believed me until I was older and everytime I get intimate with my boyfriend I have to keep my eyes closed because of the trauma I have from being abused. I discussed it with my boyfriend and he understands my pain and has help me some with feeling better about myself and realizing that I should never haven been raped and what hurts me the most is I got told I was to young to have a kit done. I have built my self confidence up and slowly building my self esteem up as well and my boyfriend has even helped me build myself back up.
