Whats wrong with me? Im so different.
Hello, LovetoGod.
I am feeling really bad for long. And when someone listens, it doesn't help too. But I'm reaching out anyway, and hopefully, with success one day. It takes me nothing to write this, so why not?
Its just hard for me to be myself in this world. All I see is loud noices, too much talking, screaming and stuff.. I feel so weird that I can't even explain that. I don't understand my generation. I dont belong here. Its so weird. Like their memes, i dont get it at all.. or saying theyre n**gers and stuff.. and those caps lock for no reason, saying anything stupid, like cheese and it still makes sence to them.. no. I do not get it. At all. I've been trough long trauma. I have no idea how do they know what to talk about. And it's complete nonsense what they talk about. Everyone gets along with someone. But me? With no one. I do not even try anymore. Becuase its always the same. Im very different from everyone. I dont like memes. Idk what else to say so thats it. These social media are so draining. Those skibidi things, i hate it too. Why is that? Why am I so weird? I dont wanna be like this.
I really hope you will understand what I mean, and not make fun of it. because no one really does understand.
@scarletSpring8060 Hello Spring, welcome and thank you for posting what will be a very relatable feeling to many people - that of never quite fitting in. You've mentioned going through a lot of trauma - I'm sorry to learn this has happened to you, and it's something which can leave us wondering why we find it so difficult to interact. I've linked below to Tim Fletcher's work on why this is the case, and to the 7 cups help guide to traumatic experiences. You've also highlighted how memes are something you can't resonate with: I always describe them as like trying to understand a conlang that you're not interested in learning - they're a short-lived artifact of limited interest, similar to memes. Going forward, I'm hoping you're able to find your way to healing Spring, the forum, listeners and chatrooms are here for you.
