Most of my childhood was plagued by complex emotional abuse

At the age of 15-16 both of my brothers passed away about 3.5 weeks apart and my mother developed a serious addiction problem. Around that point,I was kicked out of my house and homeless (couch surfing while I went to school and worked mostly, very few people were aware of my situation). I rode that wave until I was about 18-19, when I graduated i began working non stop and could afford to rent a place with my girlfriend. Some weeks were 58+ hour work weeks, and slowly over time all I can think about is what the hell even happened for me to be in this situation in the first place. Even worse, I’m sure it’s had lasting effects on me mentally
