Abuse from family
Growing up as a young teen in my house hold was a bit hard. My brother was physically abusive due to his anger issues and I still fear him even if he hasn't done anything in a year or two now. Still I'm dealing with it. I'm quite scared that he could get mad again and hurt or possibly kill me. He was especially violent as a child I seen him punch through glass and trash out house throwing things out of anger. His most recent episode involved dumping my dinner onto me and throwing the contents of the fridge all over the floor. When he gets like that I fear he might hurt me. I still live in the same house as him and probably will for the next 5 or so years.
I mainly just avoid seeing him cause it stresses me out and my childhood memories are mainly that of hiding and crying. My parents kinda ignored me during all this to tend to my brothers needs and they are still sorta like that.

If I were in your shoes, and if he was my brother I would report him because I fear for my life and my family's.
He needs help and needs to understand that taking out his anger especially on his family is not right.
I hope you get your problem sorted out soon.
I would honestly talk to your parents and tell them how you feel, because this is not something to be taken for granted.
@MarshMellowMeow that is definitely a situation that sounds like it has taken a toll on your stability as a human being and in your living space. It sounds like he has a lot of deeper emotional problems going on that have yet to be resolved. Has he tried therapy? Perhaps your parents could get him the help he seems to need.
In addition, you don't deserve to be in that hostile environment and while he is your brother, it's definitely something worth talking to your parents about and communicating your feelings towards him and your household in general. We as human tend to forget that others do not know what we are feeling or thinking unless we actually say so.
Best thing to do in the immediate future is to find a safe place in the home where you can go in terms of coping when he has an episode like that. This will be in your head and give you some peace of mind the next time something happens like this. Also, finding a good coping method that works for you and is healthy is definitely another step in the process.
Hope all this helps :)
