Am I wrong calling this sexual assault?

My ex boyfriend had started trying to penetrate when I was sleeping. I told him to stop several times and he didn't. He continued to do it all the time and it got to the point I didn't want to have sex with him anymore. I called him to my house one day and had intentions on leaving him. Instead, we got into a huge fight because I was evidently cheating on him because I haven't been having sex with him so I must be giving it to someone else. I tried telling him over and over again why I stopped having sex with him and he ended up bullying me into having sex with him that day.

I didn't want to have sex. I didnt want his hands on me. I wanted him out. Just a minute after he started, I told him to stop and attempted to push him off of me, I also attempted to get out from under him. Instead of stopping, he held me down and told me he'll stop when he's done. So seeing as he wasn't going to stop even after I took back consent and told him to stop now. I just layed there. I layed there and tried not to cry because I didn't want to piss him off so I layed there lifeless until he was done. Then he made me swallow.

After it happened, he yelled at me because I didn't moan and didn't seem to enjoy it so I said well no crap, I told you to stop and you didn't! I told him to leave and he refused. I told him againt o leave or I'm calling hte police and he started screaming "I didn't rape you" .... he finally left only after he told me not to bother reporting it because nobody will believe me and I was his girlfriend so I have to have sex with him.

a few months after we broke up he emailed me, harassing me about how I'm going to be sorry I left him. I told him I left him because he raped me and violated me. I asked him why he did what he did and he said because he thought it would be funny. So he actually confessed to raping me.

The only thing I can't stop asking myself is if I have a right to call it rape?

Yes that was rape and you shouldnt have had to endure that and he was so awfully terribly wrong and lying to you when he said because he was your boyfriend you had to have sex with him.

Thats 100x infinity wrong, no one should ever touch you in an intimate way without your consent and definitely not perform any acts and your voice matters and saying noatters and you should have been listened to. And even if you didnt say no,him having sex with you while you were sleeping was also rape because he did not get your consent before hand.

You can call it what you feel comfortable with, but its still wrong and does fit into the legal definition of rape.
