Hi - I'm Emily *Trigger Warning*

Hi - I'm Emily. And I was sexually assaulted.

I was 14 (2.5 years ago - I am 17 now). My then boyfriend and I were together for 4 months at the time. All I remember is waking up with no clothes on from my hips down and his hands feeling everything he possibly could. I was so shocked I simply pretended to still be asleep until I could make up a plan to get him off of me. Finally, I decided on screaming, kicking and wacking this 230lb, 6"4 inch man off of me and running to the next room that could lock: the bathroom. As I ran I pulled my clothes up whilst he chased me in order to run properly although I felt really weird (first time doing anything sexual - was not used to it). I fought him to close the door and once I finally got it shut I locked it as he punched the door begging for forgiveness. All I could do was wash my lower half of the body with water from the sink. I brushed my hair and I began to pray to God to save me. All the while he was pounding on the door.

It has been 2.5 years and I still get flashbacks about it to this day - especially since I go to school with him. So I thought maybe this platform could help me talk - get it out in the open - and maybe it won't affect my life anymore.

Nice to meet you.

@Emmy01 hi!!

I think you are brave to share this horrible experience with everyone. So you finally emptied your heart. How does it feel? I hope it feels good now and the nightmares have reduced, if not stopped.

One thing I am curious about is why did you not report it to the authorities? Or with your parents, friends, teacher.

And did you not realise the mindset of your so-called "bf" when you were dating? Did you rush through the relationship?

I am not blaming you or anything. I just want to know the full story. You lived with this in your heart for more than two years. You are strong. More power to you!
