How to 'get on with life'
Recently i went out with a friend to just chill at the beach, and he decided that wasnt enough for him..he sexually abused me. i since went to the police but because he is only 17 i was told there is nothing they can do. basically they told me to just get over it. but i dont know how to honestly..everything is just a haze, im not sleeping, drinking seems to be my only escape. Please help me
Just because he is 17 doesn't mean he should be able to get away with it. I strongly recommend that you talk to the officer in charge and explain your situation. Practice what you're going to say beforehand because sometimes the words you choose make a big difference. If that doesn't work, then talk to parents either his or yours next.

Aww I'm sorry :(. I just can't believe that that's what the police would say, I can't even imagine how betrayed you must be feeling, :/. Is there anyone who would take you seriously? And as for the drinking, what I did which may be helpful to you is I started a journal. Any time I had an urge I wrote or drew something inside it and that helped me.
nobody cares because it doesnt affect their life. i wouldnt know what to do in journal..i dont get thoughts, just blank everything
That's terrible if people really are so selfish as to not care especially with something so serious. You don't necessarily need to have exact thoughts it could be anything. You could look up different images to draw or different ideas for stories, anything that crosses your mind. Or just don't even think just let your hand freely do whatever and something will come to you
