I told my brother...
.. I didn't tell him it was our dad that abused me, but a "family member". He asked if they had admitted to it, I told him only one thing.. but I am aware of other times. I cried, I can't remember the last time I cried to my brother. He's 9 years older than me, him acknowledging my pain was so freeing.. more than I thought it would be. Hopefully one day I can tell him everything, baby steps.

Congratulations on your courage to tell your brother about the abuse. It's good that you have a brother like him, willing to listen to you and your pain.
I'm glad that it was so comforting to you.
I wish you that these steps that you are giving with such determination and courage, continue to heal your wounds, as this one did.
All the best,
Marcelo
Intergalactic that was so brave of you to share with your brother!! Awesome feeling , it took me a long time to tell my sister about my assault. But she is a huge supporter, I'm so lucky to have her and you are so lucky to have your brother. I'm sorry you have this kind of trauma pain and it is the worst I know. But this is a big step in your healing!! My heart aches for you but your a strong survivor, keep moving forward. ABB💜
