About 4 months ago I found out I was pregnant in a fairly new relationship. After lots of thought I decided I couldn't have an abortion. I then found out my partner was a convicted peodophile, leading me to change my mind and have an abortion, something that broke me I would never do this. I then lost my children temporarily to their dad due to the involvement of social services. I ended the relationship of course and went no contact and we are in a child protection plan at the moment, working towards me getting them back home and it's all going really well. Just painfully slow. Some days I feel really strong and ok and some days it's just too heavy. I'm an emotional wreck, I lost everything all because he didn't tell me about his past crime until I was in too deep. I'm sick of crying - sometimes I feel ok as I said but then 1 mention of what's happened I can barely hold it together.

@amusingLunch9317 I'm sorry to hear all this, Lunch. I teach a class of 40 children. I love them dearly, and I see some of their parents who are are separated. In particular, one little girl's mother picks her up only once a week, and the relief and love I see on those evenings speaks to that mother's struggle when she is away from her child.

I've never gone through any of this myself, but I'll be around if you want to talk to someone <3
