The Establishment of Boundaries
There may be people who will engage in actions towards others which will be harmful or hurtful towards them. Many trauma victims encounter being hurt by others in traumatic or abnormal ways. These are actions which no individual does deserve, no matter who they are, and which were not their specific fault to happen to them. People may also be victims of harmful actions that people choose to engage in, on a continual basis. When these types of incidents do occur, one can cope by establishing boundaries with any negative actions which people choose to purposefully participate in.
For example, someone may violate you when they should not be doing this type of an action, or hurt you in some way, and they could have prevented to be doing this negative action towards you. You can establish boundaries, and know that that person shouldn't be making that ill choice to do this action, and strive to ignore this erroneous decision which that person should not have made. Instead, you can tell yourself that this action has to do with this person, not take it personally, and is something which they are choosing to do in their own life. This act is not warranted towards you, as nobody deserves to be hurt or harmed in any way, and does not have to do with any action which you are taking in your life personally. You have your own life, your own circle of people who you value and who are close to you, your own support network, and your own activities, objectives, and purposes in your life specifically. You are living your own life, which is separate from any perpetrators who choose to do negative actions which are of their own doing, and choices. People may do these things for a number of reasons; for example, to feel powerful, to bring themselves up, because they may be sick, etc.
I am a spiritual type of a person, and I believe that God sees and knows what is going on in the world. Nobody should be hurting or harming other people, and if you are a victim who has survived something like this, you can know within yourself that it is not something which should have occurred, and you can concentrate on the postive things, people, and activities going on in your life. Nobody has a place to interfere with the positive life which you are living.

Hey Faith, this post is amazing and luckily enough I found it when I needed it. Thank you for talking about this here, I really appreciate it. There's not a single line that didn't resonate with me. I personally loved the closing you used for this - "Nobody has a place to interfere with the positive life which you are living." It's really helpful. Glad to have you around.
