Trauma
I spend most of my time here listening but I feel it's time I share the trauma I have overcome in life as it will seem unbelievable to many who have spoken with me on this platform. I was raised in a highly dysfunctional family riddled with addictions, weighed down by poverty with parents who weren't always there. I was molested at the age of six and went on to testify against my abuser. I spent many years after trying to help my best friend recover from what we endured only to see him become the same as our abuser. I have endured mistreatment in relationships due to my enduring resolve and forgiving nature. I have been beaten into hospital stays for turning the cheek. This still does not sway my resolve. I have been robbed at gunpoint and given my coat away in below freezing temperatures. All this and I still do what I do because I know in my heart it's the right way to be. I hope this helps others to better understand me.
It's really very sad to hear all this we can't just imagine what you going through. I think you should consult with a professional counselor or a doctor they will help you to come out all this difficult time. I suggest you to consult with Alliance Experiential Counseling with once. They are professional counselors.

Oh love, I just came across this. It's remarkable to think on what you've endured and not allow it to sway how you life your life. In essemce, not allowing your tauma to define you. I found that so inspiring, thank you for sharing your story.
