Verbal abuse is still abuse

When I was 14-16 years old Ive been told by family members that Im nothing, Ill never be anything, Ill be a high school dropout (which I graduated after 5 1/2 years of HS) and Ill be on drugs, homeless and/or pregnant (which NEVER happened) I used to self-harm & got really bad into alcohol back then.

i am now 27 and being told by my partner that I am nothing, worthless, lazy, a dumb b****, boring, etc.

Ive been verbally/mentally abused my entire life that Im just numb and dont fight back anymore 😔
