I been emotionally abused since I was 11 years old. It hurts and get worse everyday. I hear mean words all the time. I feel like a mistake. I get so angry with myself. I feel like it's all my fault. My mom told me I choose this life for her.. And it's all my fault. That just hurt. My brother curses at me everyday. I have nobody. After my aunt left me I have nothing. My aunt gave me the love my mom doesn't give. It's hard and I don't know how to handle it. I feel like a mistake

You?re not a mistake and your right, this is emotional abuse and I?m glad that you can recognize it. That May seem Like an Odd thing to say but sometimes a person thinks they deserve this treatment, you on the other hand seemed to have figures out that you don?t deserve it and your right you most certainly don?t.

I'm just so sick of crying every single day. I get so upset. I don't have same self esteem. How do I feel good about myself? Why do I bring myself down constantly? Why do I hate myself? Is this ever gonna stop?

Its the people around you that make these feeling so powerful, itscharacter assassination, and the worst form of manipulation there is, you don't deserve this. the abuse comes from there short comings not yours. What positive people do you have in yourlife?

I feel your pain & energy. I've been there and still healing from harsh words thrown my way. Try to remember . ..when it is all said and done your life is your own to live given to you by God with free will! Also try to understand that their pain is not your own & they lash out at you because you are closest not because you are worthless. They themselves probably do not understand why they do....they do what they do to make themselves feel uplifted or better.

Good job on knowing that you are not the problem. do yourself a favor and get out of there, i know it's tough but once you are out on your own you'll be better off. Meanwhile try to forgive them not for them but for you. make goals to get yourself out of there. small to big, how you are going to achaive them and when you are going to acheive them. try volunteering at a place where you love to be, go out and be around positive people or friends who will build you up and make you laugh. don't feel like a mistake, if you let yourself you will only get stuck where you are and i know you don't want that no one would. Your brother is another story you can try to beat him at his own game but he will expect you to keep it up because it helps his ego. my brother puts me down for being un married and having a kid. don't let him bring you down or your mom for that matter. speak up for yourself, you have a right to feel angry but also a right to explain yourself and express yourself in a safe way. i hope this helps

Thanks you guys! That means lot. It's nice to know that I'm not alone. I love my family to death but how could I make my mom life so bad? I don't get what I did. And I can't forget that. She is no longer talking to me. It doesn't matter if I move out or not bc she doesn't live with me and she stil does it. It makes no sense to me. Do you think the pain will ever go away? I pray and wish that one dsy God would figuare out how much pain I'm in and make it go away. I miss my aunt so much bc she would never let me feel this way. I know it's not right but I do feel it's my fault. Why is this only happening to me? I don't get it. Do you think I will forget this and Acually not bring myself down? I just wanna feel okay again. I don't know why it hurts so bad. All I do is when I'm home is go up to my room to be away from it all but I just feel so lonely. It was so bad I almost cut myself the other day. But then I realized what am I doing? By cutting myself won't get the pain away so I didn't do it. But all of this is too much to handle

God knows your pain, and we go through horrible things in life so we can be compassionate to others. I know it may seem tough and you're alone, but use this time to draw close to God read His word and let it abide in your mind. When you wake up everyday put on the armor of God.

The best thing you can do for yourself right now is to ask the Lord to open your eyes to the beauty of His glory all around you. Yes, even now in this troubled time, God's glory is there. Be encouraged and strengthened by what He reveals to you! His goodness is beyond measure, and His mercies are new each day. Through the trouble of your darkest hours, God's glory is still visible for you to see.

Start each new day by asking the Lord to fill you with His Holy Spirit. The fruit of His Spirit will begin to grow within you, renewing your mind and strengthening your heart. Let your thoughts rest on the wonderful knowledge that the Father's eyes are always upon you, and that as you pray, the Lord Jesus intercedes for you. Allow yourself the peace of living one day at a time, knowing as you experience each day, that you are never alone or without the presence of an understanding Friend. The Lord Jesus is there with you.

We will have trials in life, and serious struggles will confront us from time to time. Even so, there will also be blessed and joyful tomorrows. They may not come when you expect or how you expect, but they will come as you live for Him. God is never diminished; His supply never runs out! There will always be wonderful blessings for those who love and honor the Lord, and who call upon His name!

May His peace and joy fill your heart today, and may His Holy Spirit bring strength and renewed hope for tomorrow.

As for your aunt, do you think she would want you to feel bad and cut yourself? I don't think so and as a fellow cutter (not for long though) i would urge you to stop because it is only destorying yourself, you're not doing anythingfor yourself by cutting. I hope this helps.
