Auditory sensitivity help
I have a huge fear of loud noises that I can't control. Can someone help me with sound therapy and such?
It's absolutely normal, you will have these feelings of hopelessness here and there but someone is always watching; confusing it with something it can be.
@cyanWillow7385 I listen to music alot. It seems like it would be counter productive but it's noise I can control. Loud sudden noises still catch me off guard though. Have you tried ear plugs or headphones? They have some really good noise cancelling one available

I have sensory issues... so I may be able to help!
since this is a fear you might want to get professional help. My methods may or may not work...But personally, I wear sound-canceling headphones. Sometimes just listening to music and tuning things out helps me! And there are some sensory/fidget toys out there that could calm you down.
Ohh! And grounding techniques! These are things you can do when you feel stressed or scared.
I recommend searching some up but here are mine:
Square breathing: Breathe in for 4 seconds, pause for 4 seconds, breathe out for 4 seconds, and pause for 4. Do this as many times as you need to.
One more is sniffing a scent and focusing on it!
I do hope this helps you in some way and that you feel better!
