I lost my husband almost 3 months ago and I am battling the stages of grief and the circumstances of his death. It has been so difficult and I am struggling.

@amorfati88

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband. I can't imagine what it's been like for you heart *offers hugs and strength*

Different people cope with grief in different ways. The 7 stages of grief include: Shock and denial, Pain and guilt, Anger and bargaining, Depression, the upward turn (where anger and pain die down, and you're left in a calmer state), Reconstruction and working through and finally, Acceptance and hope.

Grief is very personal, and you may feel something different every time. You may need several weeks, or grief may be years long. Think about what your husband would want. If he were here, how would he want you to live? Give yourself some time to ponder on this.

It's okay to feel like you're struggling and you're free to reach out for support by messaging active listeners from the browse listeners page or putting out a general request. Once again, I'm so proud of for taking the first step towards healing.

Take care of yourself~Sierraheart
