Emotional Flash Backs and the Abandonment Melanege.
Sometimes things are so bad all one can do is lie there numb not knowing what they're experiencing just overcome with indiscribke pain.
But the pain is unbearable when one tries to pay attention to what's being experienced.
Nothing in life is bad enough to warrant how poorly I feel right now. It's must be all one massive emotional flash back. The abandonment malanege as Pete Walker calls it, maybe.
@Sasher
I so wish you too feel better!!~ I understand what your describing, my anxiety cause such struggles and pain but I try hard to get involved with positive things, if you look there are good distractions I hope. I have 2 therapists, and and an art therapy class once a week to help me focus on other things. I need more so I went to bingo the other day and won a bag of mini Mr. Good-bars and the week before I played chair volleyball from my mobility chair. I can still walk but its very painful so the VFW donated the chair to me last year and its great for getting around. Feel free to tell me whats going on and I will try to help as best I can. I'm sending strength and peace and calm
Blessings, Day
@juliak1968 it's nice to pay attention to the joys and good things in life :)
@Sasher
Yes indeed, Its the little nice things that actually fill us with positive energy!~
I hope you're feeling better today, our emotions are like the weather: The clouds and storms do come, but it always clears and the sun comes bursting out again and we have spectacular days that help us through darker times.
Blessings, Day😊
@juliak1968 thank you. I have no idea. I guess I was just so overwhelmed with the stuff I've surpressed from the past that it got the better of me. Avoiding men for a while has given me a chance to calm down and feel better.
I've had a good day full of connection.
I'll try again to go back to my usual life tomorrow.

When I am in that state of mind my therapist calls it disassociation, so now at least I understand and need to write things that are on my mind by doing art therapy, it helps a lot because otherwise you have no way of letting out :-)
You've got this!!~
Blessings, Day
