Has Anyone Been Triggered By Their SO?
I’ve been working through my trauma with the help of my therapist.. and I’ve opened up a lot and told my significant other almost everything.. he knows... I have childhood trauma from my mother emotionally and mentally abusing me. I felt like her emotional.. and sometimes physical.. punching bag. I’ve drawn a hard boundary line over not feeling like someone’s emotional punching bag.. until I’ve realized my SO has overstepped that boundary a couple times. I realize the first time and I called him out on it and he apologized and promised to never do it again… he did it again.. and I had a delayed reaction.. realizing it.. caused me to go into a lot of panic attacks, shaking tremors, blanking out/feeling numb.. I feel so alone now. I have relied on him to be my support system and now I realize I have none.. and he has betrayed me.. can anyone relate?
