My new landlord is acting just like my dad

My parents are abusive people, I have just noticed the abusive tendencies my landlord has, especially towards his wife. He's 87 and they are from Italy. Doesn't mean it's okay.
It's triggering me and putting me back in survival mode because he is the one to fix things even though he shouldn't be excuse of his age
This is gonna be a long year of living here

@drstinkweed So sorry you are having to witness that kind of bad behavior. You're right that where someone comes from does not make it right. I hope you find a way to avoid being triggered as you continue to live there.
