Question on whether people have felt the same
Has anyone ever felt that you're in such a good position in life, like you're happy with the family and your current everyday life, where you want to "end it" all because you change will come or is coming? Like you don't want it to end because it will never be the same way again (moving away for school and siblings splitting up to move) so you feel you'd rather die happy and where you are?
Having a groundhog day moment where you have everything in life as you want it but instead of seeing what the future brings you feel content with the present moment. Ending it would forever alter that family and that current everyday life. Who is to say the results of this change won't be happiness? When I'm happy I do my best to spread that happiness to others. Just because we feel on top at the moment doesn't mean there isn't someone among you who feels the opposite. I'm having to dance around this subject as to not make any references to the act you referred to but understand that life is what we make it. As children its primarily up to them but as adults it's on us to carve joy out of sadness, integrity out of deception, compassion out of rage. Every negative emotion we possess can be harnessed and transformed into something beautiful. The memory of this happy time will always remain but if it were to end those people would see this time as one of great loss. I personally could never do such a thing to people I love and I love most people. If you ever want to discuss this subject 1:1 without discussing an "end" I am here for that. Living on top of the world and not wanting it to change is one thing. To suggest ending it all out of a fear of negative change is another thing entirely and may be something worth consulting with someone qualified to tackle such issues. If that notion is true and you truly consider doing such a thing please contact https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org/ or https://suicide.org/. Life is too precious to ignore, especially when that life is reaching out for help. If you were using that as a metaphor I apologize, but anytime someone discusses it as an act they consider taking we must share the link and request that you use it.
