Stuck in my Head

I escaped a traumatic cult situation almost a full year ago, and I still can’t get it out of my head— the leader, the others in the inner circle, everything. There were around 30 of us, and it was all online, but we were threatened with our info into staying. I want to just move on and pretend it never happened, but some of the things I had to do there to get out can’t just be wiped out of my head. Does anyone have any advice for trying to move forward from a situation that was so far out of the norm that “normal” feels fake?

I'm so sorry you had to endure traumatic cult situation. Therapy has helped me so much in my CPTSD and 7 cups is a wealth of information and alot of helpful beautiful ppl. here ...When I was ready I looked for a therapist to help me it's a great way to start processing trauma. I needed a guide to help me cope. I endured s.assault, child abuse, and toxic workplace. I have had my moments when 7 cups has been a savior in between therapy sessions. Best to you, remember your an amazing survivor! Best 💜 ABB
