I can't get justice?

I can't report the boy who raped me over half a dozen times because he was younger than me and his family has already threatened to report me. How do i even deal with that? I crave revenge. I don't want him to be free and living his life when he ruined mine. It's starting to eat me up and make me so angry that im lashing out at people who don't deserve it.

I wish I had answers Im struggling with something similar; I'm grappling with whether or not I want to try to press charges. I have no physical evidence and I am barely able to admit to myself what happened i cant imagine how i would handle telling the police etc For me I don't know if it's a revenge thing I think I'm just terrified that he'll do that to another child but I totally get where you're coming from and I wish I could end him and didn't have to purse this legal route for a crumb of justice

@QueenMarie

I have went through multiple rapes, molestions, and years of other abuse.

I have let my anger at them go. I could not hold it in. No, none of them were and ever will be accountable by laws for what all has happend to me over so many years. There is much more to us surviving that just making them accountalbe. That is only a piece.

You have to learn to live with yourself the rest of your life, regardless of what ever may or may not happen with the law. You can learn to forgive inside of you and focus on other things other than revenge. Therapy can help, religion is a big help, and other things. But, it is you that have to live with yourself. You have to make it right for you to make it, no matter what has happened to you. Yes, it is hard and probably you will deal with this for the rest of your life as it comes and goes in intensity and from triggers and from how you cope. But, to best help youself, you need to find a way to be not so focused on revenge to them, but, focus more on you, and what you really need. Getting revenge will not solve this. You will still be left with dealing with all of this. I know this may be upsetting to you and I get that.

As a survivor, i know it passes- eventually. The fear, the rage etc i will always struggling to trust men but after years i feel confident. It takes time. Revenge is sweet , but is it worth the energy? You can build a happy fullfilling life and that is the best revenge is to be defiantly joyful , successful in Being happy - Being you . Because you deserve happiness. I had to move away to rebuild my sense of safety and i did it. It took a long time , but i succeeded. I hope you can find an outlet for your anger . Can you join a self défense group? Do kick boxing or kung fu? Get fit or be creative? I hear your despair and the frustration and overwhelm. Dont let anyone shame you into silence. X
