I reported my dad and he’s going to be arrested
I just heard from the police detective that they’re planning on organising his arrest from Tuesday. I can’t believe it. It will be over. I never thought I would do this but here I am. Things can change. A lot. In a short amount of time.

I'm sorry to hear whatever happened between you and your dad. I'm sorry that you had to go through that. I'm glad to hear that you'll get your justice. I understand you thinking you would never do this but I'm very proud you did. That is a big step to take from being silent. Yes things can quickly change in a short amount.

I know reporting your father must have been a hard choice to make. As an SA survivor myself, I applaud your decision, for doing what will make you feel safer in your own home. Too many people don't have the strength you have shown.
