Letting it out || TW
Hello, my name is Skylar (Sky). I'm 15 years old quite young but still suffered a lot. I have been raped 3 times, first time was when I was 6, second time when I just turned 11, and recently I've been raped again. I've also been struggling with my self image I've always been called the happy, bubbly, energetic girl on the outside but really I'm actually going through a lot. It's been one year since I found out that I'm omnisexual (liking all genders with a preference) and I know my parents are extremely homophobic, when I talked to my mom saying what if I was lgbtq she said that she wasn't going to accept me will lock me out of the house so clearly I didn't come out yet. I know I'm the least favorite child my brother would always hit me and when I snap at him my mom gets all defensive to him when I would always say he kept on hitting me. Anyways back to the rape, I'm still traumatized and I'm terrified of getting raped again. I used to go out for walks everyday but not anymore I'm too scared of getting raped again and my mom just called me lazy which really hurt. My dad is just chill so he's my favorite, But my brother absolutely hayes me I always try to be close to him but he always gets annoyed I literally fucking hate him SO much now. Another thing is when I was 11 two of these boys that were in my class kept harassing me one of them tried to touch me and kiss me multiple times and this one time I was outside on the ice he tripped and fucking kissed me the other boy kept on telling me to have sex with him chanting it. Me being the little snitch I am snitched on them they got suspended for a week and my parents were contacted and they had to write an apology. So sorry if this was long lmao.
Hey there Sky. Welcome to 7 cups 🙂 I think you have copied amazingly well with everything you have been through in your short life. I'm one of the listeners here so if you'd like to chat to someone then please reach out to me.

Dear Marinette:
Thanks for sharing your story !
It takes a lot of courage to do that !
I am very sorry for all you went through.
I would suggest that you find a good therapist through trusted sources, like your doctor, friends, or a post-graduate psychology institution in your area, and start doing Therapy as soon as possible.
There are free therapy services in psychology faculties of universities, mental health services in hospitals, and other public institutions.
Sharing here your thoughts and feelings, making connections with similar-minded people, will also help you a lot.
I share with you two books that you might feel useful (at least oarts of them) where you could find practices that might help you.
"Surviving Sexual Violence": HERE
"The Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Handbook": HERE
I wish some of this helps, and you get better soon.
Keep participating in this Community !
I wish you all the best,
Marcelo.
Thank you so much for the support I'll definitely check out the books
@Simp4Marinette
