My safe place for trauma anyone welcomed
I just wanted to create this thread for those who go through so much yet have no where to talk about it. Such as myself and some others i know, feel free to share whatevers on your mind and vent, Here for you all!
Thank you. One issue I am struggling with is estrangement from my family. They are abusive and I am the black sheep ... they blame me for everything like a punching bag. I am ok most of the time but the pandemic has really highlighted how lonely it is to walk away from family. 😔 however, I will never go back. I put up with it for too long. I have to be in safe relationships only going forward.

When someone rips everything you have done for them into pieces and bullies you, makes you feel really bad about yourself... When you look at your self and cannot fully agree... When they treat you with an attitude that puts you down... All this in an already challenging life - a sib with severe disability, elderly parents, financial struggles... In a lower middle income community...
Thing are still exactly the same. But I feel a bit better. I am working on myself - hydration, a bit of exercise. It's too early to tell, but I maybe am healing at least for now. Venting here helped me accept and decide to try to help myself a bit.

@WelcomeToChat hey! In response to your question, Yes I have reached out for support from legal things like cops, cps, and quite a few hotlines with the cop I just was harmed and did not quite work out-

@WelcomeToChat I have tried local police, hotlines like: RAINN, childhelp, I'malive, iowacrisischat, the domestic violent hotlines, and human trafficking and a few more, and CPS, they don't help much either my dad lies, no proof or they are just being *** I have given up mostly on help❤️

Some of them should have taken your case.
Maybe a Family Court public attorney.
Can you get to a Family Court near you ?
Do you have any friend whose father is a lawyer ?
Also, some Lawyer Associations (bars) have free consultation services.
I will check how children can access the courts in the state of Iowa.

@WelcomeToChat thank you very much! And about family court lawyers and stuff like that I'm not sure- I would think I'm too young for that cause lawyers cost money- tho when I turn 14 or even 15 I'm looking towards emancipation only problem is it's hard to get a job and make money at 13

Cases of parental abuse are called "Child in Need of Assistance" (CINA) cases( see HERE )
In Iowa, CINA cases are taken by the County Attorney of your county.
Examples of County Attorneys:

This is because of the exaggerated policy on internet safety. I can give you my exact address and I have nothing to fear, because I live in Buenos Aires, thousands of miles away...
Anyway, I suspect that the legal procedures might be similar.
The national legal service for children is the same.
And the free lawyer assistance NGO has branches in all states.
I will do the research again (now with much more clarity of what I am searching for) and I will get back to you a.s.a.p.

my vent today is that i'm so tired of everything, tired of people using me, throwing me around like a rag doll, tired of being treated like a dog. tired of not sleeping cuz i don't want to relive the abuse, tired of being in so much pain and my brain never turning off, I’m tired of never being heard and constantly being scared and looking over my shoulder. i'm tired of being blamed and lectured and yelled at. i'm tired of people and feeling so invalidated and hopeless and alone. Im tired of it happening and not seeing any light in the tunnel. So i am just so darn tired
with regards to the other posts, personally, i've tried so many of them too, it just makes things like five million times worse. like no one believes and shuts down, makes false accusations. I mean I know that I’m messed up but seriously i wouldn’t lie or make things up. no one has ever taken me seriously. after so many times trying, I've given up the hope to get out. i mean what's the point? stupid father should have become an actor.
