Are you safe where you're at right now?
I'm a mom of a teenager and little one.
I'm so sorry this happened to you. Do you have a parent or guardian you can talk to?
Yeah but they don't listen to me
Aww 🥺 Are you sure they wouldn't wanna listen to you? I know you're probably scared, but it's hard dealing with such a thing by yourself. I know because I am a survivor as well. What happened to you was not your fault and the one who inflicted this crime upon you deserves to be punished to the full extent of the law. But that is my opinion. Thank you for being brave to share it here. We are here to listen and support you. You are not alone.
I've tried opening up but they dont listen when i talk
I'm so sorry. I can't imagine not wanting to listen to my daughters tell me something so important. Can you talk to the guidance counselor or somebody at your school? Especially since it happened there.
Im at home so yeah
Thank goodness you're safe now.
@SweetPea321
What if its happeing in her home??
I did ask if you're safe where you're at right now @shutupdumbdino
I'm so sorry :( If you need to talk my chat is always open and i know theres alot of other good listners..but you should tell a trusted adult and defitnly go to the doctors for a checkup
What kind of checkup
A sexual assault exam/rape kit has to be done soon after, within a few days. I saw that you mentioned February on another thread so that's why I didn't suggest that. You still should go to the doctor to make sure you're ok.
Its a year after i wrote that and everything is going so much better i told my parents and went to see a therapist but im still struggling a lot with flashbacks i can still feel him on me and it won't go away
I went thru the same thing as a teenager and as a mom (25) I just can’t imagine anybody else seeing that ugly side of humanity if you ever need to talk I’m always here
@ankestrauss456 , Hey there. Coming across this post today made my day. I mean damn , takes some strength to come this far in such a short while. I know I am noone significant in your life . But I am so damn proud of you for this . So very much . It's a struggle each day to tell yourselves that one is no less of a person than they had been before they were raped. That nothing was ugly or tainted except the horrible excuse of a human being who caused this pain. And I know it's still difficult , but damn gal !! Here you are , with a beautiful heart and brave scars of a warrior , proving that someone might have power over your body for a moment, but they don’t have power over your mind or your future. I can imagine that it still causes you pain and I am so sorry it does But know that you were never really alone. There are others, so many others living with this weight who have crossed your path. They might have smiled at you from across the room in that gathering, they’ve silently identified with you as they watched you struggle …survivors. Thank you for being here. Acknowledging what happened and how far you have come. Thank you for not giving up. Thank you for letting everyone who come across know that things do turn better eventually.
Same here going on I was just 13 🥺 sad to hear that we can go through this 🩷🌸
