Starting therapy for the first time

Hello,

i was sexually assaulted just over 2 years ago and I am finally about to start getting professional help for the first time.

im very nervous.

it is natural to feel nervous before something new - meeting a therapist and facing something so traumatic is a big step - well done you.

in my experience if you explain your nerves a therapist will be very willing to try and put you at ease and make you feel as comfortable as possible. Take things at your own pace.

I really wish you well and hope therapy is a healing and positive experience for you.

How is therapy going ?

You're brave for going. I just started mine too and it was really nervewracking also.
