Was I assaulted?

I was 14 years old went shoplifting with my best friend. We got caught. When the police arrived, the officer took us out to the car and into the back. We were told we needed to be searched. My friend went first, then me. I was only 14 at the time, I didnt know the law or anything. How was I supposed to know a female police officer was supposed to be there searching me? He started at my shoulders, patted his way down my back and sides, grabbed my buttcheeks, then firmly grabbed both of my inner thighs, made his way up my torso, and very firmly squeezed both of my breasts. I felt uncomfortable but didnt say anything. I was already in enough trouble, I thought it was how it was supposed to go.

for years Ive struggled at the thought if I was assulted or not, I didnt say anything or object to it. Was I?
