Hello @luxurysaints I'm so sorry that you've had such terrible experiences in life, and that you're going through a lot of emotional turmoil at the moment because of it.
It's completely understandable and valid that you have problems with being seen naked or being touched by other people through things like hugs after what you've had to experience. It doesn't matter that it "only happened twice", that is a really high number for anybody else who has never had any experiences like that.
I feel like I overreact to my "minor" traumatic experiences a lot too. And I also don't remember a lot of my childhood. I feel crazy because of it many times as well. But please remember that you're not, and that it's perfectly valid to feel many different and often confusing emotions about your terrible past experiences and the lack of certain memories. Your trauma was real and impactful and not something you ever deserved.
Please know that you are not alone, and that you're not any more difficult to love for having a rough past and strict boundaries.
Sending you lots of love 💛💛

Reading your post finally makes me realise i'm not the only one! I also dislike physical contact because my parents always use to hit me so i always avoid touching people. I get why you may not like it because i'm not a fan of hugs or kisses. I am kinda a germophobic person so that just is more reasons for me not wanting to have any sort if physical contact. It's sad you have such traumatizing memories of being naked or touched but not all people are like that! Don't try push yourself too hard to get use to physical contact...it'll come to you naturally! Now i'm not totally against physical contact. Except if you have sweaty hands, ew. Keep your chin up!
