oh the life i live

hello everyone my name is decenthia,you can callme decent for short or tia which ever you prefer. im 16 years old. ive had a pretty complicated life although i try not to complaini want to tell you about it. my dad left my mom before i was born, well when i was three my dad moved in with us, and at first things seemed perfect my mom always bragged about how much he changed. at five my dad started touching me. i was to afraid to say anything but eventually i did. my mom and i were home alone i was 7 years old. i remember crying to my momtelling her that dad hurt me and i was scared for him to come home.she didnt say much just kinda rubbed my back and told me to stay in myroom. honestly i didnt think my mom believed me. later that night i heard them talking about it. my dad explained that maybe he played to rough with me and he would try not to

from that day forward it was neverbrought up again but it kept happening, when i was 13 years old i had a beautiful baby girl i named her martha. after she was born my mom made my dad leave only to let him come back. she alsotook my daughter and placed her in my care of my auntie. shealways told me to keep quiet,its like she didnt wantto lose my dad.

i had gotten to the point where i just couldnt stand to be there anymore. so i lefti wouldsleep in parks or where ever i could until i found that my local community centerlet down beds atnight so usually im there to sleep. im still in school and try to see my daughter whenever i can.

recently my momwas told she has cancer, so when i was told i went home to be with my mom, but he was there i want to be there for my mom but not with him around. lots of people are telling me i have to forgive any advice will help me
