@overthinker02 Maybe try a listener here at 7cups. That might be helpful.

@overthinker02 I'm so sorry that happened to you. :( That's awful. I can understand being scared of things being out of control. You will get through this. heart

As for flashbacks, panic attacks, etc. I have found the self soothe skill very helpful. I like to listen to calming music. I have a playlist on my phone specifically for calming and soothing songs. I also like this "10 hours of relaxing music" thing on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8JRzXCFHrw&t=4035s

This website also has some useful methods for calming down: https://eddinscounseling.com/grounding-techniques-self-soothing-emotional-regulation/

@overthinker02

You need to tell your parents. If you can't, maybe have one of your close friends do it. You have a difficult road of healing ahead, but you already have some good resources to turn to. You might want to get in contact with a mental health professional asap (which is why your parents need to know, as I assume you are a minor). Just know that this is a very, very difficult thing to endure, but it is not impossible. We are here for you (some of us having been through similar trials), and you are most definitely not alone. Sending thoughts to you.
