Mother In Law abuse
My bf mom of 3 years has made comments about my body, blamed me for why her son (my bf) is depressed, ignores me and has told me she doesn’t want me around. I told her I don’t appreciate how she has treated me and it hurts me. She then proceeded to blame more things on me and put me down more. I am now no contact with her but my bf still goes around her and hangs out with her and spends holidays with her while I spend them alone. I feel like I am missing out on knowing his family but his mom is abusive. What do I do?
Be calm and tell him to be with his mom whenever he gets the opportunity. Don't get frustrated with him. And remind him that she is his mother and he should spend time with her even if you and her are not on the good page.
Your behavior should remind him that he fell in love with you for what you are and not for what your mother in law said about you. It might take a couple to monhs..
