Hello, I don't usually like to say thing publicly but I decided to give it a try(?
I suffered from bullying and since I first looked for help with psychologists, each time I talked about it, it was like it wasn't big deal, like I was complaining about nothing, maybe I felt that way also because of my low self-steem but one of them even compared my situation to theirs saying that mine was no so bad so it was nothing. Some people have talked to me like that couldn't be a reason to be depressed and that made me feel even worse about trying to look for help, trying to help someone about it.
What I've been telling to myself a few months ago is that I have to right to feel pain or whatever I feel about it, and that my pain isn't less to others pain, every and each pain is different. It is still hard to actually believe it but I hope this can help someone if someone else has been through something similar.

Thank you for sharing your story here. I'm sorry to hear that your experience of being bullied, was downplayed, and diminished after you sought support from specialists. I think that your feelings of depression, and painful emotions, are completely validated in your situation. What you feel is relevant, and valid. From what I have learned, many people experience these types of negative emotions after going through experiences involving being bullied. There is a possibility that others cannot relate to, or understand your situation, so they are unable to provide you with necessary sympathy or a sense of understanding. I feel that it is important to reach out to others who have gone through the same thing, and/or positive, supportive, trustworthy people. I hope you can find the support which you are looking for.
