Losing my mom and myself ( kinda long )
I lost my mom to lung and ovarian cancer 5 years ago, followed by a lot of people (to whom I was really close to) leaving my life ( and breaking my trust). First 3 years I thought that I'm okay or I'm doing fine but since last year due to quarantine, with a lot of time to think and always being alone, I completely lost myself, I thought I was over it and I had my feelings under control but everything got messed up last year. I tried talking to so many people thinking getting things off my chest would help but that heavy feeling in my chest and the pain and hurt never decreased. I have lost my self confidence, self esteem and I've become so insecure and get anxious about every little thing. Now I don't know what to do. I can't go to a mental health professional for many reasons. So yeah that's it I guess
@SensitiveBunny27 Losing a parent is like losing a big part of our life and sometimes our whole identity <3 I'm so sorry for your loss and I'm sorry that people left in the worst way when you needed them the most. Talking does help at times sure but I understand it can't fill the void that's left behind by the loss. The pain stays even if it's been 10 days or 10years, we just keep trying to find new ways to deal with it, as time goes on. I'm so proud that you managed to get yourself together and were doing better, that gives a hope that you can get through this tough time as well. Isolation and quarantine has been tough, I totally relate to losing yourself and feeling like all the progress went to waste but that's not true <3 you got stronger everyday, you did your best, you survived and are still surviving. We all break at times and that's allowed, you're allowed to hurt and heal. Take all the time you need to build yourself up again. No matter how small, every try, each step matters ❤️ You matter :)
I'll keep you in my thoughts and I hope it gets easier for you ❤️
Thankyou so much. It means a lot to me. I cried reading your response. I wish the world has more human beings like you. May god bless you and you be happy.❤️
@SensitiveBunny27 that is so sweet of you ❤️ thank you. I can sense you're a kind person and you deserve the absolute best, and so much happiness, peace and healing. I hope you get it all ^-^ Wishing the same for you. Take care :)
