My little sister died and it’s my fault
I’m 16m , I had a little sister , who would now be 14 . When I was 10 we went playing in the woods , I saw this tree that looked like a really good climbing tree . We climbed it . And I was higher up, I didn’t realize she was struggling to climb . She slipped and fell hitting several branches , and she passed , snapped her neck cuz I asked her to join even though she was scared to
@gregariouswill I can't even imagine how hard and heavy this is for you to carry. You were a kid. I know that probably doesn't ease your mind or your pain but you were just a kid. You didn't know she was having a hard time climbing. How could you know? You were kids doing what kids do - playing - it isn't something that anyone could have seen coming. I wish there was something I could say - some way to better offer you comfort - some way I could the pain you must feel. I'm so sorry for the loss of your sister. I'm so sorry for how this must have affected you in the years since then. How this must have affected your childhood. I'm so sorry you carry this. It's not much but I've lit a candle for you and your sister and I send you peace and comfort
That is heartbreaking. It will always be with you, but in time, the pain lightens and faster when you let others help you carry it. Thank you for sharing that. Forgive yourself. May peace and light fill you up always.
