I've often wondered 💜💕
Coming from a country where people don't have to join the military or where we dont fight wars, I've often wondered how it feels for families and loved ones to say goodbye as they watch their sons, brothers, boyfriend's and husband's go off? How does it feel for the Soldier, the war veteran, how does it feel to return? How does it feel to be living in a country going through a war?

It’s awful. My best friend was a Marine. It felt like he was being ripped away from me :’(

It's so difficult watching these situations play out in the TV, and so many people becoming desensitised to it all 🥺

That's easy to answer. You miss the ones you love and they miss you too. Mostly, I miss my dogs and I think they feel abandon ed while I'm away.

As prior military, I knew what I signed up for and my family knew how I felt and where I stood about my decision to join. With that said, it is hard for anyone to leave family for an extended period of time for any reason, not just military.....
