An 'explanation' to much shorter responces
Hello all. I'm Jeffrey. I don't have a particular sub that I frequent, but prefer to look at the 'needs reply' posts. People that have been on a while, may recall my rather lengthy responses until I broke my wrist in the end of June. I am unable to use my dominant, right, hand pretty much at all and it will be like that at least until the end of February.
What I don't want is for a newcomer to get a short reply and feel short changed . My thinking is better a short reply than none. Perhaps, for at least some, I am wrong.
My desire is to contribute, but I'm sort of left wondering.
@JeffWM Hi Jeffrey! I'm really happy to know that there is somebody who thought so much about other people and desire to let all people feel the same way :) Although for the short response, sometimes people can only articulate so much of their thoughts. Maybe that's why they although have the will to help can only say a little.

Wow I can really see your dedication to this community Jeff. I do the same thing, I don't want anyone not be responded, and I don't like the imbalance in the response number. But it is natural and ok for some to have so many because some threads and stuff have different pursposes. I agree with the other two about how you don't want to leave short replies and that a short answer is still a better answer. I try to do the same, I want to put time in my thoughts.. not that that might be better... idk, if I'm getting what you said correctly but I think I agree with what you said. peronally, I like more than a few senstences in my reponses. that's why I try to do the same. I hope your wrist gets better soon without anything else happening!
