Calling All Verified Listeners: Help Wanted on the 7 Cups Welcome Committee!

...See more The hardest part of the journey is sometimes the beginning, and this is especially true of our newbies. We as a community have the power and ability to ensure they get properly oriented and supported so that their journey is smooth. I have been actively contacting newbies over the past couple of months and the results have been inspiring. Roughly 80% of those I sent a personal message responded to me and very appreciatively! That's a really big deal because those people have a much higher chance of being retained (retained = staying on 7 Cups). But I need help! So it's with great excitement, that I announce the revamped relaunch of the Welcome Committee! Through this initiative, we can meet our newcomers at the start with a friendly welcome (think hospitality, a greeter, etc.). We will also provide guidance and resources they need to navigate their first steps. The tasks are simple. PMing brand new members, saying hi, giving resources, answering their questions, and sending follow-up PMs to make sure their transition is complete. There are two sides of the Welcome Committee: one to serve members and one to serve listeners. 1. To qualify to join the Member Welcome Committee, here are the requirements: * You must be a Verified Listener (find out how to get verified here) [https://www.7cups.com/forum/listenerjourney/ListenerVerificationProject_1839/GetVerifiedon7Cups_290064/] * No behavior reports (BPS) within 3 months * Comfortable PMing * Google Sheets skills – Basic knowledge of managing data in Google Sheets is necessary. Note: The team uses spreadsheets to copy/paste names and log PMs so you'll need access to a computer/laptop device. This work can't be done via phone. We apologize for the inconvenience * Maintenance criteria: 1-2 hours a month to dedicate to this project ✅ Apply here! ...See more Hello , good morning. I am from New York. Just wanted to try to Post, and see if this makes any difference. I am new and i dis few posts, but honestly not sure if it shows or anyone sees it. Juat been trying to manage ongoing issues, not anything tottaly new, been dealing with isaues sincelord knows how long. Prob all way back i. Jr high school. But back then it was wY, way manageble. Now anxiety a d panic attacks, along with add and adhd literally increase in length and frequency. Some days i even manage ok, at work and some days i could barely get through the day. Litteraly not sure where my mind is, and when no sleeping, i emd up with splitting headaches at work. Aorry, i feel super awkward posting all this.

...See more hello! my name is alycia, and im 20 years old! im new here so i figure it would be nice to make a post about myself! im currently an education major! my hobbies include reading (literary fiction AND shoujo manga because duality), along with book collecting and journaling (specifically deco journaling). i love watching movies and tv of all sorts, never watched a bad movie in my life, i always have a good time! my favorite movie is 'but im a cheerleader', and my favorite show is between 'pen15' and 'abbott elementary'~ ehh i tried to put a pfp but it said the first two were inappropriate and the 3rd one was a celebrity photo, guess im just perfect lmao.  looking to connect with other queer people  (im bisexual) in their 20s as i live in a relatively conservative area where there aren't many people like me at all, especially poc queers, but any lgbtq+ members or allys are more than welcome to message me!
