I'm in a Long distance relationship of 5 years and i have severe family issues my boyfriend is so nice and calm from the day we met. He's kind of man who let things go after a fight and I'm the one who stretches the issue. He's busy in his life having fun and setting goals hanging out day and nights. But I'm typ of person who only have 2 friends out of which one is my boyfriend. So i feel like a leftover i behave clingy i frustrate him so much even knowing that I'm wrong. I don't like making new friends. I can't go out because of family issues. Someone plz suggest something.

@Sakshii2000 Sometimes when we become clingy. It is a trauma response/trigger from the unstable family life. You are not at fault for being sensitive to not wanting to feel like a "second fiddle" in your relationship. Perhaps maybe trying to find some hobbies of your own that you can do to decompress and not bleed onto him unintentionally. However, if he loves you enough he would understand that you have been through some rough things that you are still healing from and working through. Best wishes!

@Sakshii200

I understand you are in a long distance relationship and are experiencing some mixed feelings. It sounds like you respect your partner and possibly notice some qualities in their character that you admire. Maybe feeling conflicting emotions about your own character and are at the frontline of change. I hear and feel your pain on the family issues topic. I hope that you are able to find peace. If you are seeking a listener, my inbox is always open. Take care✌️

@Sakshii2000

Sounds like you're going through a challenging time with both your family issues and feelings in your relationship. Dealing with family problems and having limited social support is quite tough, but there is hope 😌

Talk to your bf openly and let him know that you recognize your clingy behavior and that you're trying to work on it. Discuss your family issues too so he can understand the situation you're in. Find your things which you used to love before. Engaging in activities you love can help alleviate feelings of loneliness and give you a sense of purpose

Also have you consider joining online communities or forums related to your interests. This way, you can connect with like-minded individuals without leaving your comfort zone
