Consistency

Hi everyone,

So I have an issue with being consistent doing the things I love. Such as spending time outdoors, going to the gym, cooking, and reading. Do you guys have any advice on being consistent and regaining that love for doing the things you love again. I really do love to do the things I named. Sometimes I just procrastinate and don’t feel like doing anything. I don’t like feeling this way. Any advice?

@energeticBunny3667 hello, nice to meet you 😊 sometimes we can stuck in a rut and the things we love doing don't make us feel as good anymore. It can be difficult but what works for me is changing things up and creating a routine that I stuck to, spontaneity also helps and taking one day where you just pick one random stick to give yourself some time to just have fun. It doesn't have to be pressurised or made into something bigger, just carve time in your week to make sure you are looking after you and having fun. Take care and I hope you have a great week 😊

I don't like the feeling either nor do I like the results - sitting alone in a messy space dying to eat something delicious in good company with great conversation - what a sparse spot I'm in! Never thought I'd be here. But here I am! The only relief I've found thus far is that occasionally I can open to the idea that life has an ebb and flow - times of prosperity and times of poverty - that I did not, nor am I currently doing anything terribly wrong that would allow for or accentuate this state then I'm able to, for a time, accept the present and even look forward to a different future that will come just as this state did - with the natural ebb and flow of life. It's my hope for us both that we'll find peace even if only here and there.

and, thank you for opening yourself to advice as that allowed me space to reflect and space to feel competent sharing for a moment! Much appreciated friend.
