Did you “travel” far to get here?
I mean this rather seriously because I had been looking for an online community for my son to join … and I never would've imagined one so robust and expansive as this. I’ve been really impressed. And I wonder if you have come across something similar?

Hi! I’m new here and not really sure how all this works but would love to make new friends to talk and share things with. I’m introverted in my daily day to day life and find it very hard to make friends. Which can feel very lonely. I recently in the last year had a big move and now I’m somewhere where I don’t have the friend support and circle I once had. I work a lot so making friends isn’t always the easiest thing. It can really wreak havoc on your emotional regulatory system when you feel mostly alone with no one to really talk to.
@Aquapassion I understand the longing to make friends combined with the hardships of actually doing it. I'd love to be your friend and talk with you through this difficult part of life!

As for me, I love having deep and heartfelt conversations with people while also being able to include silly moments in there as well. I find it really comforting talking to other compassionate and empathetic people.
