Hello and I Hope I can find a should to cry on

Hello Everyone,

I don't want to give away too much about myself, because I have never done any sort of on-line chat community before. I always thought they were filled with weirdos and creeps trying to harm you and take advantage of lonely and emotional people like myslef. I am going through a lot right now, and unfortunately don't have any one safe to talk to. My friends. My family. None of them I feel comfortable talking to. Mainly because they know my husband and think he's this great and wonderful guy, and probably wouldn't believe me when I tell them about how he can be kind of a jerk sometimes. Also, they might tell him all the stuff I talked about with them, and that would not end well for me. He would be ***. He has threatened divorce many a time. Pretty much everytime we have a major agrument. Plus, he feels our arguments are pointless and that I'm just making a big deal out of nothing, and that I always have to be right. I just can't take it anymore, and I'm never sure if I'm actually in the wrong or what. I mean, I know I'm not perfect, and I have done and said things that were unfair. But, I hate when he points out past issues with me as if they're happening right now. I don't know. I don't know what to do. It's sad, because I want to love him. But, if I'm honest, it's hard to love him. I often fantisize about being with someone else, and I feel terrible for that. I mean I sometimes feel like I'm being ungrateful or unappreciative. But, then he does something that reminds me of why I fantisize about not being with him. I swear that song from Sarah Baraeiles (I think I spelled her name wrong....sorry.). "King of Anything" sums up my problems with him perfectly. Anyway, I hope someone can help me.

Take care and please help me if you can. I would also like to help others too. I'm a physically disabled house bound person at the moment. I would love to provide support to others who are in a similar situation.

Sincerely,

Lonely and Broken

Girl! I hope you find the courage to confront him! Threatening divorce multiple times is emotional a**se. Don't blame yourself or your past. I think if you talk to your friends, at least one of them might understand. I hope you find the courage to do something about it. Sending much love.

@sandraweder81 Hi, OMG when I saw your post, this was me about 7years ago and I found seven cups, my first and only listener was/is Alansam123, he helped me see my worth and I realised my Husband is a narcissist, I have learned how to live with him and his narcissistic traits but at the same time love myself and live my life living with him (we have kids) but inside living with myself and I have changed so much once I started to see my own worth and treating myself the way I deserved and I came to realise, all I need for love, is myself, my kids and my beliefs, I’m in such happy place right now, but I was exactly where you are 7years ago! You can always search for Alansam123 on here, he is really great to chat to, it’s been 7 years and he is my online best friend.

Oh and I forgot to mention, once I got over my own fears of his narcissistic ways and his control and gaining self control, I displayed no fear and self-love, he actually gives way to me now, he can see I changed and he can sense I don’t need or love him in that way and all I need is myself and my own happiness, once I worked on myself and displayed my self love, independence, confidence and strength and no fear attitude, he is like melting snow, and even though we live together, we can live together in peace for the sake of our kids until they are older, I’m in no hurry to find someone else as I don’t need love elsewhere as I know I’m loved, but with your circumstance’s it’s obviously different, so @alansam123 might be a good friend to chat to 😊 💕
