Hi! :)
Hello, first of all, my first language is not English so excuse me if I write some things wrong, I'm literally using a translator lol.
The truth is that I don't know how to start this post, it's very weird for me to tell my deepest thoughts in a social network, and show myself vulnerable to a lot of strangers, but therapy is very expensive in my country, and a third opinion or advice might help me.
There are many things I could start with, but a good way to sum up what's going on is to say that I feel like I'm rotting.
It's like when you buy a bunch of apples, you leave them in a corner and you eat the ones that look juicy first, you leave the ones that look normal for later, but time goes by and the normal apples start to rot, and you don't want to eat them anymore, you don't even want to throw them away because they don't look that bad, you just leave them there, rotting inside, well I feel like that apple and like the person who leaves that apple there in the corner.
There are so many things that trigger that feeling, maybe it's too soon to tell it in a social network full of strangers, but I think it's a good start to start expressing what I feel, even if I feel it sounds very corny.
@thoughtfulSVJV Thank you for reaching out and sharing your thoughts with us, even though it may feel unusual to express your deepest thoughts on a social network. I want to assure you that it's perfectly okay to seek support and advice from others, even if they are strangers. Sometimes, a different perspective can provide valuable insights.
Feeling like you're rotting or decaying can be an overwhelming and disheartening experience. It's as if you've been left in the corner, neglected and unnoticed. Recognizing and acknowledging these emotions is an important first step towards understanding and addressing them.
Remember, sharing your feelings, even if it feels corny, is a courageous act. It takes strength to open up about our vulnerabilities. By expressing what you're going through, you allow yourself the opportunity to be heard, understood, and supported.
While it's essential to respect your comfort levels, know that there are numerous individuals here who are willing to listen and offer their perspectives. Sometimes, just sharing your thoughts can provide a sense of relief and begin the process of healing.
If you feel comfortable, you can share more about what triggers this feeling of decay, and perhaps we can provide further insight or advice. Remember, we're here to support you, and your journey towards healing and self-discovery is important. Take care ❤️
