@shiningFriend1708 well actually I only learnt how to use technology and the internet about two years ago. And as soon as I learnt my carer set me up on this site. I don't actually use any social media or you tube, nothing like that. I don't really get to socialise, as I don't leave my home. So 7 cups as become my life line, my family/friends. I don't know what I would do without 7 cups ❤❤

Thank you for posting this. I believe that in general technology does help a lot. Tho some social media platforms can trigger bad stuff, there’s a wide pool from which everyone has a chance to find something that works for them. Might not be as wonderful as irl, but surely can be a means to ease loneliness or at least give a sense of access and connect with outside world.

Like to think of technology like the honey for the lemon tree. Nobody likes bitter sour lemonade, but we all start with that.

Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about how staying connected has become more of a challenge—even for those of us constantly meeting new people through work. As someone in field sales, I’ve found that having a digital business card really helped me maintain meaningful contacts without all the awkwardness of physical handoffs. I started using one through https://wisery.io/digital-business-card-for-field-sales/  and it honestly made follow-ups feel more natural. Little things like that can go a long way in reducing that weird feeling of isolation when you’re always on the move. Anyone else tried something similar?
