How I join a community?

Hi, I'm Jason. I'm finding it very counter-intuitive to join communities. There is no "join community" button or options that I can see. Please help

Hi Jason, are you on the app, or browser on your phone/ desktop? On desktop there's a +Join button on the right hand side of the page, but you absolutely don't need to have joined a subcommunity to post there, please do post in what ever part of the forum feels right for you.
