I need help
Hey! I’m not exactly “new” here but I never actually got into this app when I first joined, mainly bc of my anxiety. But I’m trying again and I wanted to know how you go about talking to Listeners? Probably a dumb question, and I’m prob massively overthinking things with my anxiety brain, but do I just send them everything and let them respond? Or do I wait for them to start the convo first when I press to chat with them?

From the listener's perspective: It looks like sometimes so-called "ghost chats" can be an issue here. I mean it happens chats are started, but with a member not responding at all.
So, yeah, I think that could be great of you just saying some words - just "Hello" might be enough for a listener to know you are really there, waiting and wanting to talk. Then a listener should kindly introduce himself or herself by his or her screen name. And you are cordially invited to talk 😊
It's a welcomed routine when a listener answers your posts in no longer than 1 to 3 minutes (sometimes typing can take a big longer). But also we do our best to give our members enough space to share their stories without too many interruptions.
